Elderly Couple Terrorized In Home Invasion

An elderly couple has been shaken up after three bandits invaded their Scarborough home overnight.
The 75-year-old homeowner was hurt in the head when he confronted the trio after they broke in to the Brimley Rd. and Finch Ave. house at about 2:30am Friday.
The man’s wife, a woman in her late 60s, was also injured in the attack. Paramedics treated them at the scene.
The three suspects fled without taking anything, and police are now looking for them.
It’s unclear if the couple was able to provide descriptions of their attackers to police.
Investigators suggested the thieves may have accidentally entered the wrong home.
