Two Lives Lost In Separate Horrific Accidents

In addition to a 12-year-old boy killed in a morning crash on the 401 in Ajax, two other people have died in separate collisions in other parts of the city.

A rollover on Highway 7 east of the 400 around 5pm Thursday killed one person. The car wound up on its roof while the second vehicle veered off to the other side of the highway. Another person was sent to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre for treatment. There’s no word yet on charges.

Meanwhile a motorist died in a horrific accident in Vaughan during the morning rush. This one happened on Rutherford Road between Keele and Dufferin Sts.

A pickup truck somehow jumped the median sending one car into the ditch and killing a 76-year-old man. The truck then landed on top of another car.

Despite the unbelievable damage, the occupants – and the pick-up driver –  somehow survived.

Police are continuing to probe both incidents.
