Cops Issue Remarkably Clear Photo Of Man Suspected Of Robbing Four Banks In Three Hours

A man suspected of robbing four banks in just three hours Thursday has been caught on an especially clear security video camera.

Cops believe the man pictured at left is the person who started his day by walking into the Royal Bank on University Ave at 12:15pm and demanding cash.

He repeated his act at 2:30pm, when he showed up at the TD Canada Trust branch on Wellesley St. E.

Twenty minutes later he was back, this time getting a teller to surrender funds from the Scotiabank at 19 Bloor St. W.

While cops were busy following his trail, he struck almost next door half an hour later, at the Royal Bank on Bloor St. E.

He fled each location with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Detectives feel sure that with such a clean image, someone out there will be able to recognize him and give them his name.

He’s described as:

  • Early 20s,
  • 5’4″-5’7″,
  • 150-180 lbs.,
