Cops Issue Picture Of Accused Killer’s Distinctive Tattoo

But an argument between two old pals apparently escalated into something far more serious on the weekend, and now police are alleging one turned on the other in a chilling murder downtown.

Cops were called to the King and Dufferin area around 1am Sunday morning after receiving reports a man had been shot.

That’s where they found 23-year-old Jesse Batisse suffering from life threatening injuries. He later died in hospital from a gunshot wound to the torso.

Authorities named 20-year-old Thomas Lawrence Doucette as the main suspect in the murder on Christmas Day, and have charged him with first degree murder.

They’ve now issued a picture of the wanted man, which contains the best clue for finding him – a picture of the distinctive tattoo on the back of his neck.

He’s described as:

  • 5’8″,
  • 154 lbs.,
  • Short, brown hair,
  • Hazel eyes.

Doucette is known to have family in Niagara Falls but detectives believe he’s hiding out in the city.

Call (416) 808-7418 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at (416) 222-TIPS if you know where he is.
