Visitation For Adam De Prisco

Friends and family packed the Scott Funeral Home in Woodbridge on Tuesday night for the visitation of slain teen Adam De Prisco.

Many still can’t believe the 19-year-old was killed in a hit-and-run, and are hoping to find answers into the tragic death.

“He was the one, the one person that you never expect that to happen to, you know?” said one grieving friend.

“I guess (it’s) just become a reality now,” adds another.

The popular Woodbridge teen was killed while vacationing in Mexico last week, but mystery still surrounds his death.

Mexican officials said right from the start Adam was the victim of a hit-and-run. Preliminary findings by Ontario’s coroner also found injuries consistent with a car accident, but the De Prisco family maintains Adam was beaten to death outside an Acapulco nightclub.

Suspicions that Adam’s body was tampered with along with anonymous witness accounts from Acapulco that Adam was beaten has left the family with more questions than answers.

There has also been frustration with the Canadian government for what they perceive as a lack of response.

“I hate being a Canadian because I haven’t seen nobody, nobody from the government doing anything at all. They don’t care,” Adam’s mother said.
