Guelph Boy In Critical Condition After Pond Hockey Mishap

A 10-year-old boy was left fighting for his life at Toronto ‘s Hospital For Sick Children Sunday night, after he was hit in the head with a puck while playing ice hockey.
The boy was reportedly playing on a pond at St. George’s Park in Guelph during the early hours of Sunday afternoon when a puck flew into the side of his face.
He was clinically dead when emergency crews arrived, but was revived following a struggle by paramedics.
He was first taken to a local hospital and from there was air-lifted to Sick Kids where he remains in critical condition.
