The old credit card in the lock trick didn’t work so well for one alleged German burglar.
The 29-year-old wannabe thief tried to use his card to open his neighbour’s apartment door, but it snapped in half.
“He tried to copy what he’d seen them do on television, but the flat-owner woke up and the criminal ran away,” a Moenchengladbach police spokesman said Wednesday. “The victim called up and read us the details off the card.”
“When we got round to the burglar’s house, the other half of his credit card was sitting on his kitchen table.”
Maybe this guy should consider bobby pins.
