Heat Get Best Of Raptors

The Miami Heat almost let a 10 point fourth quarter lead slip away, but managed to hold on to beat the Toronto Raptors 92-89 to gain crucial post-season positioning.

Shaquille O’Neal and Udonis Haslem had 16 points each to lead the way offensively.

The win moves Miami past Washington into first place in the Southeast Division. They won the season series with the Raptors, 2-1 — meaning they hold the tiebreaker with Toronto if the teams finish with the same records.

Chris Bosh led Toronto with 24 points and 11 rebounds.

Rasho Nesterovic and Juan Dixon each finished with 11 points for the Raptors, while Luke Jackson had eight of his 10 points in the fourth quarter to fuel an unsuccessful rally.
