Two Downtown Banks Robbed Within Minutes

Two downtown banks have reportedly been robbed in quick succession Monday.
The heists occurred within 12 minutes of each other, and Toronto police believe the same person is responsible for both.
The first case was at a Bank of Montreal branch located at Queen and Yonge Sts. At about 10:20am a bald man apparently gave a note to the teller, demanded cash, and was handed some before he fled.
Shortly thereafter, at a TD Canada Trust branch only a few blocks south, at Adelaide and Yonge Sts., a man with the same description walked in and, using the same modus operandi, got away with more cash. The second heist occurred at about 10:32am.
There were no reports of a weapon in either case.
Police are looking for a suspect. It’s unclear if they have any more to go on in terms of description.
It’s not being reported how much money he swiped from the financial institutions.
