StreetBeat – July 12 – Teen Stabbed in Oakville

As if summer classes weren’t bad enough, a teenager is in hospital Thursday after being attacked at an Oakville high school. One teen was stabbed in the back with a barbeque fork around 10:30am in a classroom at Iroquois Ridge High School on Glen Ashton Drive.

Halton Regional Police are still trying to figure out what caused a teen to allegedly stab his classmate in the Trafalgar and Upper Middle Road area. Police arrested a young man shortly after the attack. Both youths were there for summer school classes. The victim is expected to recover and no one else was injured. The suspect will be in a Milton court on Friday.
