Toronto Garbage & Recycling Collection Days Changing

Here’s a question you rarely get asked – when do you get your garbage picked up? Think you know the answer? You may be wrong. The city is trying to make the pick-up of garbage and recycling in the city of Toronto “more efficient”, so they’ve made some changes to the dates that all that waste will be collected in various neighbourhoods. While some people’s regular days will stay the same, a lot won’t.

And that means beginning August 7th, you may be lugging all that stuff to the curb on the wrong evening. The changes apply only to homeowners in T.O. who receive regular collection now. The city had previously announced the change but with the date now looming, they wanted to make sure you haven’t forgotten. How do you know if you’re affected?
