Car Reportedly Dragged For 3 Minutes After 401 Accident

You can only imagine the terror experienced by those inside a car on the 401 between Meadowvale and Port Union Road on Monday. It was just after the height of rush hour, around 6:15pm, when a transport truck apparently T-boned a vehicle going eastbound.
It’s not clear if the truck driver was aware he’d hit something or why he didn’t immediately stop, but reports indicate those inside the car were dragged for up to three terrifying minutes before the big rig finally braked to a stop.
Somehow, there were no major injuries and everyone got out of both vehicles safely. It’s still not clear what caused the mishap.
