Memorabilia Dealer Testifies Against O.J. Simpson

“O.J. was screaming, ‘This is all my s—. This all belongs to me. You stole this from me. Let’s pack up. Let’s get out of here,'” testified Bruce Fromong, one of two memorabilia dealers allegedly robbed by O.J. Simpson.

A Thursday court hearing  in Las Vegas was scheduled to determine if there is enough evidence to take Simpson and his two co-defendants to trial.

Simpson is accused of barging into a Vegas hotel room with a group of men, one who is accused of wielding a gun, and taking hundreds of collectors items, many which chronicled his storied career on the gridiron.

Simpson was subsequently charged with robbery and kidnapping, among other offences.

Fromong said the confrontation lasted about five minutes and culminated with Simpson and his partners stuffing the items into pillowcases and taking off. The dealer also testified that several of the allegedly stolen items had nothing to do with Simpson, but were lithographs of football great Joe Montana and items signed by baseball stars like Duke Snider and Pete Rose.

“I said, ‘O.J., that’s my stuff. That doesn’t have anything to do with anything,” Fromong said.

Fromong also said a  man pointed a gun at his face and told him, “I’ll shoot your a–.”

Fromong was the first of eight witnesses prosecutors expected to call. The hearing will continue Friday.
