Cops Name Suspect In Square One Parking Lot Murder

It was just after 8pm on a Sunday night. It was right outside the busy movie theatre area near Mississauga Square One. And it was brazen, dangerous – and deadly. Peel Police believe they know who shot and killed 27-year-old Husam Dagheim in the parking lot off Duke of York Blvd. and Rathburn Road. But they don’t know where he is.

Cops allege 19-year-old Tristan Palmer was the man who pulled the trigger that night, one of three men accused of roaring off in a dark coloured vehicle immediately after the victim was felled. Authorities tell CityNews.ca they’re convinced a drug deal gone wrong was behind the deadly violence, and they’ve had encounters with the suspect in the past.

He’s already wanted on robbery and assault charges from a separate incident in November. He’s known to hang out around the Collegeway area of Mississauga, but no one is quite sure where he is now.  And that’s a potential problem for the public, because detectives think Palmer is still armed and still very dangerous.

He’s described as:

  • Black,
  • 5’7″,
  • 125 lbs.

Homicide investigators want to get him off the street as soon as possible. Call (905) 453-2121 ext. 3205, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS if you can help make that happen.
