Man Proposes While His Girlfriend Sits On Santa’s Lap At Mall

When Anna Mazzitelli sat down on Santa’s lap at the Yorkdale Mall, she never expected it to be a life-changing experience. But her boyfriend, Paul Furino, had his own plans.
Furino pulled out a sparkling diamond ring and proposed with Santa looking on excitedly.
Mazzitelli quickly accepted and the couple embraced before blushing shoppers.
“I wasn’t expecting it. I just sat on Santa’s lap and I got a ring,” Mazzitelli beamed.
Anna may have been blindsided, but her family and friends were in on the secret plan.
“He was planning to do this for a long time,” remarked friend Joey Martino.
“It’s about time,” her aunt Rose Addesi adds
Paul and Anna haven’t set a date just yet, but they say they’re hoping to be married by the fall of 2009.
