Finding a seat the Toronto Reference Library got a little easier Thursday.
At a press conference complete with artist renderings of the new space, Deputy Premier George Smitherman announced $10 million in new funding for the busiest library system in the world.
“I’m really, really excited to.make investments to ensure the centrepiece, the flagship of the best and busiest public library system in the world enjoys the strong support of provincial governments,” Smitherman proclaimed.
It’s part of the $30 million expansion that will see a new event centre and yes, more work stations added to the downtown branch.
