The sidewalks were busy Sunday afternoon as Torontonians came out of hibernation at the first signs of warm weather.
Jenny Richmond was spotted wandering the crowded streets of Kensington market.
“I’m just walking around enjoying the weather because it’s the first nice day we’ve had in a long time. I want to make the best of it.”
At 4 C, the weather is hardly record-breaking. Our all-time high was 10 C back in 1989. But with the sun shining and the frigid temperatures gone, pedestrians hardly noticed.
“It’s a good time to get out in the sun and get some vitamin D,” noted a local busker.
But for some of those who had to work, it wasn’t as fun.
“Actually it’s a little too warm now from all the heavy lifting. I find it too warm,” observed mover Ivan Leclerc.
Enjoy it while it lasts. The mercury will plunge below the freezing mark for the rest of the week. To check the seven-day forecast, click here.
