It’s spring in Toronto, but in some parts of Saskatchewan, it sure doesn’t feel like it: Regina will see a low of -16C on Tuesday and in Saskatoon, it could dip to -8C.
It certainly explains why some of the province’s top officials are in Ontario. Well, that and a job fair.
Brad Wall, Saskatoon Mayor Donald Atchison and Regina Mayor Pat Fiacco are looking to hire our recent university and college graduates – and they’re paying cash.
“We are short of workers,” Fiacco admitted. “What a great place to be at a national job fair where we can bring our business with us.”
