Alexander Ovechkin and his Washington Capitals aren’t done just yet.
That much was made clear Friday night, when Matt Bradley scored his first two playoff goals and the Caps cruised to a 4-0 Game 5 victory.
Ovechkin added a highlight-reel worthy goal of his own and rookie netminder Simeon Varlamov posted his second shutout of the opening round.
The win staved off elimination for the second-seed Capitals, who will try to force a Game 7 with a win in New York Sunday.
Alexander Semin rounded out the scoring for Washington, and the Rangers pulled goalie Henrik Lundqvist after two periods, replacing him with Steve Valiquette.
