Toronto Child Treated For H1N1

There are nearly 300 cases of H1N1 virus in the province, and one of them is a Toronto infant.
The one-year-old child is being treated the Hospital for Sick Children after contracting the illness, also known as swine flu.
He is in stable condition.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that the virus could worsen. If the strain mutates, the global body cautioned, it could become more severe and many more people would die.
So far, 42 countries have officially reported 11,168 cases of influenza A (H1N1) infection, including 86 deaths.
