Peel’s Latest Murder Victim Identified

Despite paramedics’ best efforts, a man died Wednesday following a Tuesday night shooting in Mississauga.
The victim, identified as 25-year-old Andres David Buritica-Marin, was found in a vehicle behind an apartment building on Shipp Drive, near Rathburn and Hurontario roads.
Ambulance crews rushed him to hospital just after 10pm Tuesday, but he later succumbed to his injuries. A post-mortem is set for Thursday.
There are reports three black males fled the scene in two vehicles immediately after the incident. The first vehicle was a dark-coloured Mercedes SUV. The second was a smaller, silver vehicle.
