Three Stabbings And A Shooting Keep Police Busy

A series of violent incidents have kept police busy on a rainy Monday night.
The first took place at 1901 Sheppard Ave , where two men, one aged 19, were stabbed.
Both were taken to hospital, with one said to be suffering from life threatening injuries. Police have one person in custody, but there’s no word on charges.
Later, a 16-year-old male was shot in the leg during an apparent drive-by shooting near Eglinton and Keele.
The victim ran into an apartment complex at 2468 Eglinton Ave. , while the suspect kept firing, leaving shattered glass in the lobby.
There’s also been reports of another stabbing at Eglinton Ave., E and Kennedy Rd. in Scarborough . A 36-year-old man was stabbed multiple times and rushed to hospital. His wounds are not life threatening, and police believe the suspect was a robbery victim. No word yet on any arrests.
