Tree Falls On Van

It was a cruel wake-up call for a man in Leslieville on Tuesday.
“I looked out the window and thought, looks like there’s a tree laying on my van,” explained Wilfred Stunden in disbelief.
Sure enough, that’s exactly what happened in front of his home on Marigold Avenue.
“I’ve told the police and they’re supposed to send someone out to look and see what they can do,” Stunden noted, adding that he didn’t want to move it himself.
It’s still not clear how much damage the tree did to the front end of the vehicle – and that he’s worried it might take a while to find out.
“I don’t know who I can call to get it because the city’s on strike.”
