More firefighting resources from Ontario are being dispatched to British Columbia to help battle forest fires.

The blaze was started by lightning and dry conditions helped it grow rapidly in a little over two hours on Thursday.
The fire is burning away from Whistler village and is on the other side of the mountain from the Olympic venues.
