Man Arrested For Sexual Assault Of TTC Riders

With the help of the public and the TTC, police have arrested a man wanted for the sexual assaults of young women getting off the bus.
Thayaruban Mylvaganam was charged late Friday with three counts of sexual assault and two counts of criminal harassment.
On August 28, an 18-year-old was sexually assaulted after exiting a bus at Steeles and Birchmount. And on Thursday, two young women, aged 22 and 17, were attacked after getting off buses at two separate Scarborough locations.
Mylvaganam was scheduled to appear in court on Saturday.
