Yorkville Art Gallery Robbed

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating three paintings stolen from a gallery in Yorkville.

The robbery happened at about 1:30am Sunday at the Gallery Gevik on Hazelton Ave.

The stolen paintings, by Quebec artist Pierre Gauvreau, are one-of-a-kind and were on public display for art collectors and enthusiasts.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.
