Woman Found Dead In Oakville Creek

Halton Police are investigating after a woman’s body was found an Oakville creek on Thursday.
Shortly before noon, a passerby noticed the deceased woman lying in Sixteen Mile Creek, near Cross St. and Speers Rd.
Paramedics and police responded to the scene and were able to identify the woman, described as white and in her 40s.
They are waiting for autopsy results and notification of next-of-kin before releasing further details.
