Scanners That See Through Clothes Could Be Coming To Pearson Airport

Officials at Pearson Airport are considering implementing scanners that can see through a person’s clothes, causing an uproar amongst detractors who say the technology is a breach of privacy.

The scanners give security a full body view and can even detect body piercings and implants.

They are already in use in Kelowna B.C., where passengers are given the option of being manually searched.
