A second man has been arrested in connection to a double murder that happened at a Brampton house party last June.
Terrence Elliot Hughes, 40, and Garth Nicholas Palmer, 29, were killed and six others were also hit in the gunfire that rang out before dawn at 8678 Chinguacousy Rd. on June 6.
Mustafa Omar, 22, was arrested weeks after the murders and is charged with two counts of second-degree murder. On Friday police collared 21-year-old Justin Bellinger and he, too, will face two counts of the same charge.
Both men were scheduled to appear in court Friday.
Police believe there were more than 100 people at the party the night of the murders and investigators are still eager to talk with anyone with information about this case. If you can help, call Peel homicide detectives at (905) 453-2121 ext. 3205 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
