Former Maple Leaf coach, Pat Burns – interviewed on a Montreal radio station Tuesday – spilled some details about the night Tiger Woods crashed his SUV.
They are details Burns got from old friends on the Florida police force.
Burns confirmed internet reports that Woods may be hiding out after losing a pair of teeth when his angry wife struck him in the face with a nine-iron that evening in November.
After discovering text messages from Rachel Uchitel, wife Elin Nordegren blind-sided him with the club, also splitting open his cheek.
That’s when Woods ran from the house with no shoes on.
Woods apparently needed plastic surgery to repair the broken teeth, but only one institution could do it, in Phoenix Arizona.
That’s when Woods’ agent warmed up the jet.
That also explains why Woods was not available to be interviewed by Florida Police in the days after the accident.
