Vicitm Identified In East-End Murder

Police have arrested and charged a Toronto resident in the murder of a 46-year-old Mississauga woman whose body was discovered Friday afternoon.

Around 1pm, officers responded to an apartment near McCowan Road and Eglinton Avenue East after someone there found Michelle Quemener’s body and called for help.

Quemener had suffered physical trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Charged with first-degree murder is 60-year-old Eugene Wong. He was scheduled to appear in court Saturday morning.
