Man found dead in Hamilton backyard

An investigation is underway after a 47-year-old man has been found dead in downtown Hamilton, Sunday.

The body was located in a backyard after a 911 call at 11 a.m.

The man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday. The man’s name is not being released until his family is notified.

Anyone with informaiton is asked to call Hamilton police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
