Summer weather in long weekend forecast

TORONTO, Ont. – The long weekend forecast will be so summery that many people will be digging out their shorts and sandals.

Sunshine and temperatures into the 20s are in the forecast starting Thursday and into Saturday.

The weather has many people talking about patio and barbecue plans for the long weekend.

For those hitting the road to see family or maybe an early trip to the cottage, the Ontario Provincial Police will be out in full force, watching for impaired and aggressive drivers, as well as those not wearing their seatbelts.
