Two more men have been charged in the death of a Don Jail inmate earlier this year.
Kevon Phillip, 24, was found unconscious at the Gerrard Street facility on January 2 and died of his injuries in hospital.
On Monday, Hussein Nur, 21, and Abdifatah Mohamed, 20, both of Toronto, were arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
Also charged are Christopher Fearon, 26, Nixon Nirmalendran, 20, Nathaniel Grant, 25, and Said Mohamed, 22.
Phillip was being held pending an immigration hearing. He allegedly had 25 prior convictions, seven of them for possession of property obtained by crime.
His was the second death at the prison since November when 32-year-old Jeff Munro was allegedly beaten to death by three other inmates.
The week Munro was killed, another 32-year-old inmate was severely beaten and hospitalized.
Nur and Mohamed are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
