TTC Driver Arrested For Impaired Driving

A TTC bus driver was charged with impaired driving Wednesday night, 32 division police officers have confirmed.
Witnesses tell CityNews they saw police performing a field sobriety test on the driver around 8:15pm on Senlac Rd., south of Finch Ave. West.
When they passed by the area about an hour later, both police and the driver were gone but the bus was still there.
There’s no word on what prompted the arrest or the identity of the driver.
This arrest comes as the TTC faces a slew of public criticism after a much-maligned fare hike, public photos of an employee sleeping on the job, and the suspension of another after failing a breathalyzer.
