Megan Fox dropped from third Transformers movie

Megan Fox, who made her name as Shia LaBeouf’s love interest in the first two “Transformers” movies, will not be appearing in the third instalment.

On Wednesday, Paramount Pictures announced that her option was not picked up for part three in the blockbuster Michael Bay series.

The studio has given out few details about the move to drop her from the film.

2007’s “Transformers” and 2009’s “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” have brought in over $1.5 billion worldwide.

Fox, who just turned 24, is also known for starring at the title character in last year’s “Jennifer’s Body”, where she played a possessed cheerleader who preys on high school boys.

Scripted by Oscar-winning “Juno” writer Diablo Cody, the film only brought in $16.2 million domestically.
