Toronto launches website showing roads affected by construction, events

TORONTO – The city has made it a little easier to get around this summer, with the launch of a website which shows ongoing and emergency road construction, existing travel conditions on city roads, and special events scheduled to take place.

Mayor David Miller said now is the perfect time to unveil the site, as Toronto is experiencing more road repair work than usual this season. Watermain replacement projects are scattered throughout the city on both main roads and side streets, and many other routes are being resurfaced.

To view all the streets under repair, and those which are affected by the G20 summit meetings, visit www.toronto.ca/torontostreets .
