If your long weekend plans include a trip across the border, police are reminding travellers to bring their proper paperwork.
Travellers who do not have a passport will need to present an approved-travel document such as an enhanced drivers licence or identity card that denotes both identity and citizenship. Birth certificates are sufficient identification for children under 16.
