Ottawa Man Charged With Assaulting Toronto Parking Officer

An Ottawa man is facing charges after a confrontation with a Toronto Parking Enforcement Officer (PEO) allegedly turned violent on Tuesday.
According to police, the suspect angrily approached the PEO in the parking lot of the Woodbine Mall on Rexdale Boulevard. Police allege the man slapped the officer in the face with a parking ticket, and then used his vehicle to block the officer’s vehicle.
He’s also accused of spitting on and kicking the officer’s vehicle and threatening him with bodily harm.
No one was injured during the alleged incident, but police arrived on the scene and arrested the man.
Ahmed Shahin Mohammad-Nazim, 20, of Ottawa, is charged with:
- Assault
- Threatening Bodily Harm
