Mailbox explodes southwest of Stratford

STRATFORD, Ont. – The OPP are investigating after a mailbox southwest of Stratford was destroyed by what officials believe was an explosive device.
Police said the same device was also found in another mailbox in the same region.
Those in rural areas are being told to carefully check their mailboxes before retrieving their mail.
Anyone who sees suspicious activity is being asked to call police immediately.
