Toronto Humane Society reopening delayed

TORONTO – The reopening of the Toronto Humane Society on Queen Street is being delayed until further notice.

The facility was scheduled to reopen Tuesday, but now officials said new members of the board need more time to meet with management and staff.

The shelter shut down for six weeks following an animal cruelty investigation which came to light last November.
