Residents in midtown woke up to a blackout on Tuesday.
The power outage was caused by a variety of sources, including a hydro vault fire on Erskine Avenue. The winds and rains overnight didn’t help – falling trees took down several power lines.
The affected area is bounded by St. Clair to the south, Dufferin to the west, Lawrence to the north and east to Bayview.
Toronto Hydro is working to restore power.
