Eastbound 401 lanes reopen at Mavis

MISSISSAUGA, Ont., – Traffic frustration eased up on the 401 as two left lanes were reopened eastbound on the 401 at Mavis.
A tractor trailer hit an overpass and spilled its contents on the road at around 2 a.m. on Saturday. The trailer was attempting to avoid another collision, said OPP Sgt. Dave Woodford.
The driver sustained only minor injuries.
The right lane will remain closed for several hours while crews work to repair the temporary barrier wall.
