Fatal Motorcycle Crash

An Oakville man is dead after a motorcycle accident late Friday night.

Halton Police say the man, 33, was driving his motorcycle at 11:45pm on Dundas St. in the area of Postmaster Dr.

The motorcycle struck a van head on that was traveling westbound on Dundas.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Hamilton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died. The driver of the van was not injured.

Police say speed may have been a factor in the crash.
