Summer officially makes its debut

TORONTO, Ont. – Summer has officially arrived, Monday.
It arrived at 7:28 a.m.
The region has seen unseasonably warm weather throughout spring.
680News meteorologist Brian Hill said the temperatures will be above normal throughout the summer and that could spell trouble.
“And in my opinion, that means we could see some increases in the number of thunderstorms that we normally get at this time of year. That increases the risk of potentially severe weather,” Hill said.
