Man Shot Dead In Chinatown

Toronto police are searching for suspects after a man was gunned down in a Chinatown restaurant early Saturday morning.
Violence broke out around 3am at the Excellent Cantonese Seafood restaurant, where the victim was shot in the head. The restaurant is at 263 Spadina Ave.
The victim’s identity has not been revealed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say that prior to the shooting, the victim was in the restaurant with a group of people. Homicide investigators were at the scene Saturday interviewing witnesses and appealing for anyone who may have been in the restaurant at the time to come forward.
A description of the suspect has not been released.
This marks Toronto’s 28th homicide of the year. An autopsy will be performed Sunday.
