Boston Beats Toronto 3-2

The Blue Jays suffered a 3-2 loss to the Boston Red Sox Sunday as they head into the All-Star break.

The Red Sox enjoyed back-to-back home runs in the sixth inning courtesy of Darnell McDonald and David Ortiz. McDonald launched a two-run homer and Ortiz knocked out his 18th of the year to give Boston the 3-2 lead.

Aaron Hill’s 12th homer of the season in the same inning also sent Adam Lind across the plate.

Boston’s Daisuke Matsuzaka allowed six hits and two runs over six innings. Jesse Litsch allowed four hits and three runs over seven.
