Man Dies After Knife Attack

A man in his late 30s died overnight after getting out of his SUV and collapsing at an east end gas station.

Around 3:30am Wednesday, the victim was found beside his navy blue, 1999 Ford Explorer near Lawrence Ave. E. and McCowan Rd.

He was transferred to Sunnybrook with serious stab wounds and he succumbed to his injuries.

Police say the stabbing happened near Danforth Rd., west of Midland Ave. and were in the area canvassing and searching for evidence.
