Toddler Dies After Being Pulled From Pool

A young child has died after being pulled from a pool in Toronto’s Avenue Rd. and Lawrence Ave. area.

The toddler, a 3-year-old little girl, was given CPR at the scene before being rushed for treatment at the Hospital for Sick Children. She passed away at the hospital.

The pool the child was pulled from is on Melrose Ave. There’s no word if that is the child’s home.

This is the second young child that has drowned in the province this week. On Thursday, 4-year-old Avrey Pringle was pulled under the current in Peterborough’s Otonabee River.
