Sears Canada issues safety recall for Joe Boxer girls’ underwear

TORONTO, Ont. – Sears Canada has announced a recall involving Joe Boxer underwear for girls, saying that the clothing did not meet flammability testing standards for sleepwear.
The recall from Boys Will Be Boys Clothing includes girls’ 100% cotton two piece camisole-boxer underwear sets.
The clothing was sold in sizes small, medium and large at Sears stores as well as through the catalogue and online, between October 31, 2006 and Tuesday of this week (August 3).
The manufacturer number can be located on the tag attached to the underwear and corresponding Sears item numbers can be found on sales receipts.
No injuries have been reported, but customers are being urged to return the clothing to the store immediately, and they will be offered a full refund if accompanied by the receipt.
